Executive Vice President & CPO of Movate
Anish Philip is the Executive Vice President & CPO of Movate, with over 25 years of HR leadership experience in the IT industry. An alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, he has held key roles at Ernst & Young and Mindtree - where he led Corporate HR initiatives. Anish is also the Honarary President of the NHRD Bangalore chapter, actively contributing to the HR community.
Co-Founder, Sitara Akka
Advait Kaluve is the co-founder of Sitara Akka, an organization dedicated to transforming education by empowering students to become lifelong, self-directed learners. Together with his co-founder, Advait has helped establish a mentoring network of 200+ Akkas and Annas who support students from all 31 districts of Karnataka. Sitara Akka’s impact has been amplified through collaborations with renowned institutions like NSRCEL-IIMB and The Circle India, and partnerships with government education offices to deliver district-level education solutions. Advait’s efforts have garnered widespread recognition, including meeting the Honorable President of India and being featured in Deccan Herald as a changemaker to watch in 2025.
IRAS (Civil Servant), Indian Railways
Dr. Anup N currently serves as the Senior Divisional Finance Manager of the Hubballi Division, South Western Railway Zone, overseeing financial operations in Northern Karnataka and Goa.
Prior to this role, he held key positions as Assistant Divisional Finance Manager and Divisional Finance Manager in the Lucknow Division of North Eastern Railways.
An Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer from the 2016 UPSC Exam batch, Dr. Anup N brings a unique blend of expertise, having graduated in Medicine (MBBS) from the Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS). Post-graduation, he served as an ICU Incharge at the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, Delhi, for two years.
With a diverse professional portfolio, his core competencies span Public Administration, Government Finance and Accounting, and Healthcare Management.
Beyond his financial responsibilities, Dr. Anup’s role encompasses inspection of railway assets and infrastructure, human resource management, retirement settlements, financial proposal evaluation, and monitoring budgets and expenditures within his jurisdiction.
Dr. Anup has made significant contributions to Indian Railways' modernization and revenue enhancement initiatives. Some of the notable achievements are
•Co- authoring three research papers on the revolutionary concept of transforming the current Broad Gauge railway system to a Super Gauge system.
•Preparing a draft proposal and delivering a presentation at the National IRAS Conclave on Land Monetization to boost railway revenues.
•Developing a comprehensive training plan for Group C Accounts staff across India.
•Leading initiatives for the digitization of cash transactions within the Railways.
In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Anup is actively involved in extracurricular activities such as sports, Scouts and Guides, and cultural programs, where he holds prominent positions, including Joint Secretary.

Dr. Saji Varghese is Associate Professor in the Dept of English, Christ University, Bangalore He is the Board member of Incubation Cell, Christ University. He did his Ph.D in English from Nagpur University, Maharashtra and has an experience of 23 years teaching English language and literature at UG and PG level in Nagpur and Bangalore.
Besides his interest in exploring English language teaching pedagogies, he has a keen interest in grassroots innovation and entrepreneurship. He got the fastest patent granted in India in 2018 for his innovation of biodegradable straws from coconut leaves. His start up is leading to the employment of over 200 women in coastal India backed by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. Dr. Saji Varghese was invited to be part of the Hon’ble President of India’s Business Delegation to Philippines in October 2019.
